Ka Won has been called to the British Columbia Bar since 2013, and has specifically focused in the area of Wills & Estates for the past three years. Ka Won advises on all aspects of estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and representation agreements. As a practicing lawyer, she is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and a member of the Canadian Bar Association’s Wills & Trusts and Elder Law subsections. Ka Won attends continuing education courses on estate planning and regularly gives public presentations on wills and estates planning. Ka Won is also partnered with the non-profit organization, Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP), and helps EFAP members with questions regarding wills and estates.
Ka Won is currently enrolled in the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma Program. This program will further enhance Ka Won’s knowledge of trust and estate planning
English is Ka Won’s first language but she can also speak Cantonese. In her spare time, Ka Won is learning American Sign Language. She also enjoys crocheting, soap-making, and spending time with her family.
